Geri Jannarone e-cyt mbpt      Studio Director                                  Geri has been studying, practicing and sharing the joy of Yoga and Pilates for over 15 years.  Former Mind Body Program director of the Brielle Sports Clubs she is the founder and director of The Mind and Body Studio, Brielle NJ.  She is multi certified through AAAI/ISMA and has enjoyed advanced training with such masters as Rodney Yee, Colleen Saidman Yee, Gary Kraftsow, Seane Corn amd Shiva Rae.

Penelope Morrison e-ryt Penelope was first certified in Prana Yoga at the New York Open Center under Kripalu teacher and physician Jeff Migdow. She received further training at Kripala Yoga Center in Lenox, Massachusetts for yoga therapy, in which yoga poses are used to remediate physical, mental and emotion issues within the body.   Penelope completed advanced teacher training with yoga master Rodney Yee an is registered through the Yoga Alliance.

Marije Paternotte-With 8 years of yoga experience, Marije is a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, trained at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Massachusetts and is registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT200). Additionaly, she is certified by the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica to teach Let Your Yoga Dance ®  and has completed a YogaEd. program for teaching yoga to children. Furthermore, she has studied for two years at School of Life in Amsterdam; an integral training for consciousness, healing and reading. Through this program, she has learned healing and reading skills, as well as conscious communication.
"I wish to share the benefits of yoga with other people, for which reason I travel around the world to teach yoga classes, workshops and retreats. I sincerely believe that if everybody on this planet practiced yoga, the world would be at peace. I am dedicated to help people find their True Self within and be compassionate with themselves and others."

Helen Jane Abrecht CPT -HJ started practicing Pilates in 2004 to help recover from a severe back injury.  Thankfully, it worked, and as Pilates strengthened her core muscles she had less trouble with her back.  Through a combination of yoga and Pilates, she is now in better shape  than she has ever been before in her life! 
    Her 45-minute and 60-minute fitness-based classes involve several periods of stretching interspersed with core, leg, and back exercises, a TOTAL body workout.  The class also varies, incorporating weights and props, promising cardio pumping, core toning FUN!  HJ is planning on getting additional certification for Phase II Mat Pilates this June and is excited to be part of The Mind and Body Studio team!
